Nell’attesa dei Television Critics Association Awards 2014, sono state rivelate le nominations ai TCA Awards 2014 (Television Critics Association Awards), i premi assegnati dalla critica televisiva alle serie e ai programmi TV. Quattro le nominations per True Detective, che supera le tanto amate Breaking Bad e The Good Wife.
La noir True Detective, infatti, è stata candidata in quattro categorie dove proverà ad ottenere premi come miglior interpretazione maschile per Matthew McConaughey, miglior miniserie, miglior nuovo programma e soprattutto miglior programma dell’anno. In quest’ultima categoria la battaglia sarà dura e tra giganti: True Detective, al momento tra le preferite, dovrà scontrarsi con Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones e dopo cinque anni anche con The Good Wife.
