Dopo due anni da Overexposed è già tempo di nuova musica da parte dei Maroon 5: Maps (testo, traduzione e video sono più in basso) è il primo singolo estratto da V, il prossimo album della band californiana che vedrà la luce il 2 settembre. Ma intanto Maps promette subito di diventare uno dei grandi tormentoni musicali dell’estate 2014.
Non si sono dunque fatti aspettare molto Adam Levine, James Valentine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden e Matt Flynn, ovvero i Maroon 5, per nulla inebriati dal successo mondiale del loro ultimo disco Overexposed, ben supportato dagli ottimi singoli Payphone, One More Night, Daylight e Love Somebody. Il nuovo brano Maps segue perfettamente la scia di queste magnifiche hit internazionali e state pur certi che nelle prossime settimane lo ascolteremo a lungo in radio, come del resto è accaduto a quasi tutte le canzoni dei Maroon 5.
Per quanto riguarda invece l’album V (va inteso non come la lettera V ma come il numero romano, per cui si pronuncia Five, cinque, poiché è il quinto album della band) è stato prodotto da Benny Blanco, Max Martin, Sam Martin, Noah Passovoy, Shellback e Ryan Tedder e sarà pubblicato su etichetta Interscope Records. Prossimamente ne sapremo di più e quasi certamente conosceremo anche le prime date del tour mondiale che vedrà Adam e compagni esibirsi in tutto il pianeta (speriamo anche in Italia) tra la fine del 2014 e tutto il 2015.
